Jutawan: Empowering Women To Venture Into Business

Granted with the Promising Business in Beauty and Personal Care award at the Bumiputera Business Excellence Awards 2021, founder and Director of Nur Raihan Binti Kamar Nordin heralded the BBEA recognition as a particularly important first win for the company, one that few have the opportunity to be presented with and expressed hope that this will bring ‘visibility’ to her business.

She also went on to talk about her aspirations for the future of her business, looking to target other parts of the South-East Asian market. “Our goal is to spread our wings to be countries like Singapore, Indonesia, and Brunei. We hope to be able to strengthen and empower our Jutawan SAE Agent System and recruit over 10,000 SAE Agents from all over Malaysia and increase our sales by five times,” she reveals.

Sharing her advice to future entrepreneurs, Kak Han suggests that future entrepreneurs be mentally and physically prepared when finding success in the business industry and to figure their ‘BIG WHY’ when working towards a clear purpose. “I want to emphasize that to succeed, you must follow four principles: focus, consistent, upgrade, and commitment. If we can maintain these four principles in our business, you can be successful in whatever you intend to do,” said Kak Han.

A health and beauty product manufacturer, Jutawan Sae Sdn Bhd aims to help empower women to venture into the business through their agent system. In its 8 years of operation, the business has expanded to include 8 networks of beauty and health products, with the number of agents and stockists of the company also increasing over time. Notably, Jutawan SAE’s flagship product, Lovva QVit is the first modern herbal medicine in the country, and it has revolutionized the modern herbal medicine industry, becoming a benchmark for other young entrepreneurs in the field.
