ABOUT BBE AWARDS
The Bumiputera Business Excellence EXPO and Awards (BBEA) is a premier Programme dedicated to building valuable business avenues and recognition for the exceptional Bumiputera SMEs, enterprises, start-ups, entrepreneurs and personalities in Malaysia for their accomplishments and contributions to the industry.
The local Bumiputera business sector has for the longest time been an embodiment of true resilience, dedication and growth, playing a fundamental role in the nation's economic development. The incredibly challenging economic climate due to the pandemic has put a lot businesses, big and small, through difficult situations and unprecedented times. Despite this, many companies from the Bumiputera ecosystem have demonstrated grit, turning challenges into opportunities and making the best out of a difficult situation.

Being an Award Programme that caters to the Bumiputera business environment on a more holistic level, the Bumiputera Business Excellence Awards does not cater to a certain niche but instead adopts an all-encompassing approach to celebrate the outstanding Bumiputera stakeholders from a wide range of industries and trade.

QUALIFYING PROCESS
The Bumiputera Business Excellence Award nominees will undergo a comprehensive qualifying and verification framework comprising of the following phases.
PHASE 1 - Pre-Qualification
Initial clearance of pre-qualification criteria set by research committe or self-nomination of business/individual.
PHASE 2 - Submission of Supporting Materials
Submit nomination form with complete supporting materials and documents that will be vette by the Award Committee for various qualitative and quantitative criteria, to validate eligility by performance, and individual or corporate acheivements, depending on award category.
PHASE 3 - Audit Inspection & Interivew with Nominees
Conducting virtual interviews to ascertain internal stakeholder capacities that align with the criteria outlined by the Awarding Committee.
PHASE 4 - Independent Jury Judgement & Selection
Jury Judgement by Board of Advisors whereyby the finalised entries will be evaluated to decide on the winning recipients.
PHASE 5 - Award Confirmation Announcement
Award Committee and Jury to finalise receipietns and confirmation letters are sent out to awardees.
PHASE 6 - Exclusive Award Event
Awarde of Commemoration with an Award to be officially presented to the final award winners.
